Every uninsured parcel
is a liability you already own.
Punch in your numbers. The math runs in real time. Carrier liability caps at $100 per parcel — Shield covers declared value.
What's actually covered.
Every line item.
Carrier liability is not insurance. It's a contractual limitation that defaults to $100 regardless of what you shipped. Shield binds a separate policy on every parcel.
A $1,200 electronics shipment lost in transit recovers $100 from the carrier. The remaining $1,100 is an uninsured loss — absorbed by your margin.
Carrier liability vs.
actual coverage.
Every major carrier defaults to $100. The "declared value" add-ons they sell are underwritten by the same carriers who have every incentive to deny claims. Shield is a separate policy.

Carrier "declared value" add-ons are not insurance policies — they are contractual modifications to the bill of lading. Disputes are resolved by the carrier's own claims department. Shield policies are underwritten by A-rated insurers, independent of the shipping carrier.
